This may involve a very basic solution like installing a split air conditioner such as a High wall mount unit with a condenser outside, or the larger systems such as ducted air conditioning units of almost unlimited size, through to very large installations requiring chilled water and or condenser water systems involving cooling towers.

The applications can vary from residential (although we tend not to service that side of the industry), commercial office blocks, shopping centres, computer rooms, Health Industry, industrial process cooling for factories and production lines.

Our experience ranges from:

• The domestic market whether it be a one bedroom house or a multimillion dollar mansion.

• The commercial office block involving individual splits or the more complex VFR splits (allowing us to push the design boundaries of the refrigeration circuits), through to rooftop package units, water cooled ducted plants or chilled water installations.

• We understand what makes the “refrigeration cycle” work efficiently and how all the system components come together in equilibrium to deliver a cooling effect or heating effect. We have completed numerous test benches for universities where they use them to train engineering students on the workings of the refrigeration cycle.

• The industrial world of process cooling whether it be ventilation, condenser water cooling facilities, chilled water facilities, thermal storage facilities involving stratified tanks, ice storage or simple buffer tanks. We have worked in places like Steel Mills, Pulp and Paper factories and food production facilities.

•  Numerous ventilation applications ranging from toilet exhaust systems, car park exhausts, kitchens canopies to spray booths or grinding bays. We have integrated the ventilation systems so that they work in conjunction with Air conditioning systems to ensure they work efficiently, with out the exhaust systems exhausting all the conditioned air from the occupied space such as sports facilities and RSL Clubs.

• We have also resolved humidity challenges whether it be a laboratory test facility requiring very close humidity and temperature control, through to large vehicular tunnels requiring dehumidification for the numerous services reticulated within their service tunnels.

• We have extensive TRIGENERATION experience using gas fired generators to generate electricity for both use within the building, then using the waste energy from the combustion engine to generate either chilled water via an absorption chiller or hot water for the buildings hot water system. All aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the mechanical services within a building.

• We have a long association with Delta Building Automation where we combine our mechanical services knowledge with their wealth of knowledge on Building Management Systems, to ensure our clients achieve the required electrical power optimisation and put in place a meaningful energy monitoring system to maintain the required level of efficiency.
